Hiya, just a quick and dirty solution for playing at higher res. Make sure you back up the base.rte/scene folder as you will need to overwrite the 5 background image files. Change the resolution settings in Settings.ini to 1024 by 768 (included a prechanged file). I've only tested in Full Screen mode. menu is a little funky, but once in game no problems. Works pretty well...I think I either need to add more clouds or adjust the heights of the cloud levels a bit - right now the clouds seem to rush up too fast. Check it out. |

Hmm, that's unique. Maybe the palette is corrupted? Anyone else have any ideas? Normally it just turns a non-compatible image into negative colors. |

... You know, this is pretty old news. Like, last year's news. I already did it in my low gravity mod. And it has been discussed many times. It's still pretty cool, but search for it next time. EDIT: and, yes, the exact method for doing it has also been shown. So this doesn't introduce anything new. |

I downloaded the modded version someone made, I didn't like how the sprites were just scaled up. These are basically tiled instead. The oversized versions of the sprites kinda made me dizzy |

Spriggen wrote:  haha yeah it was your upscaled pics. Thanks for doing that tho, I wouldn't really have bothered changing the backgrounds if I hadn't seen the larger screen size in action. |

I'll add this to the FAQ so that we won't post these again and again as the old ones fade into obscurity. |
