Well I have the trial version and I was wondering what the advantages of having the full version are cause I can still get mods on the trial version. So whats the difference. |

Unlimited skirmish time. Plus people wont think you're a money-grubbing gentleman. |

Also access to the great albeit quite a bit limited ingame editors |

Sounds ok but still not a whole lot better then the trial version. I don't mind being a cash grubber. |

Nah, the full version is great. I just leave skirmishes running on my laptop with a nicely defended base and an accessible brain, and then see how long it takes to lose. (Answer: CC crashes first, after like an hour.) I don't know how anyone would be able to deal with time limits. The scene maker is kinda nice, though it really needs to be able to get all the parts it is dependent on and bundle them up. A sort of "export" deal, which would allow using mod content without modifying your base files or manually gluing things together. |

Not to mention that the earlier you buy, the cheaper it is, so when (if) the full game ever gets finished you'll have access to the full campaign etc (I'm not sure if it will be accessible to demo users, I would guess they only get a few levels) |

Plus, you show your support to the game and make the Great Data In The Sky more prone to actually work on it. |

Unlimited skirmish time. And... The editors that it already has are already amazingly helpful. Actor viewer helps with changing things on a certain actor on-the-fly, which is an amazing help with offsets. The gib editor is amazing when you need to place a lot of gibs, or make a gib gib at a certain poiunt. Plus, the sooner you buy, the less you pay. |

You'll have to buy it eventually anyway, Data isn't going to leave the trial as the entire game for free when he's finished it. Might as well get it while it's cheap. |

Unless you're a modder, but it for unlimited skirmish time. There's also the 'support Data' argument, but I'd wait till the bugger fixes his engine some more before we pay him that privilege. |

One of the reasons I bought the full game was to play Weegee's missions. |

Stop being so bitter Exalion, you didn't buy promises that Data would do everything you, the customer, asked. You donated to him. |

We paid for a product. We did not donate. We engaged in commerce. Goods for goods. Cash for services. There was nothing charitable about our donation to a product. Our investment--more appropriately labelled--entitles us to be unhappy with the direction we are funding and the execution of goals. tl;dr, we paid for it we are allowed to complain. Alternatively, people who don't pay for the full version are not entitled to have their complaints actually listened to. There is a small amount of consumer criticism that Data should be paying attention to (ie, if he wants to capture business using his demo model). Generally speaking, those fall on deaf ears. You aren't donating anything, you're funding a project. And as financiers, we are entitled to be unhappy with what is being delivered. |

While I'm happy with the pre-release product that I purchased, I don't believe my opinions are more valid or that my ideas are better than someone who hasn't paid. I hope the Developers listen to all good ideas regardless of their source. |

No guy, we're not funding a product, we're simply purchasing it. I'm pretty sure we only have the right to complain if the product did not meet it's claims. I don't think Data has claimed anything but unlimited skirmish and a buttload of "maybes". You can't buy a carrot and complain because it does not fly or fire laser sharks. If you're complaining that skirmish cuts out and sends you back to the menu screen after 10 minutes you could say something about that. In fact, on the occasions I've left CC on for multiple hours it's died. You guys could make threads and bother Data about that, maybe. |
