I have seen my share of online play and i can look you in the eye and say that it is possible to have a 1 on 1 battle ovr the net for free
it is a simple matter of creating a program in the game that connects 2 people over a direct link to each others computers.
it is basically a modified version of the remote desktop connection system
I have seen this done using C++ and i think it can be done with Lua if you look at it on a different level
So just look at it this way and if you have a problem

Hi, my name is tekguy and I am going to suggest some stupid, vague, ethereal solution to a "problem" that the developer doesn't even want to solve.

No one is arguing whether or not it can be done.

If you'd have bothered to search, you'd see that Data doesn't want to. So suck a ♥♥♥♥.

Besides it would add more interest to the game, imagine fighting your friends brain from china
and i got the idea from the direct IP multiplayer thing from Dawn of War
sorry i didn't know that the developers didn't want such a function
but still you don't need to go on a kill spree just because a gave an idea that might improve the game
you can't blame a guy for trying

Tekguy, it is not going to happen. Somebody would have to host the servers to do this, and Data Realms has very little money. Data does not want to do multiplayer either.
While being a bit of a ♥♥♥♥, ProjektTHOR hasn't really done much wrong. Your first post told everyone to kiss your ass for not being as enlightened as you. Do you expect that to be met with roses and chocolate in a heart shaped box?
