How do I board a craft? There is no instruction, and I have searched without answer. Please help!

Get the move the craft near the actor (or object) you want on board, and open the craft doors.

Once the doors are open, move the dotted lines into the object, so the craft sucks in the object.

With a craft selected, press FIRE to open the doors/whatever.

Alternatively you can set a craft to "stay", [and land it if necessary] and then open the doors, and switch to the actor you want to load on board, and fly the actor into the "tractor beam", which is the area between the two yellow dotted lines. You will then hover into the doors of the craft.

This is much better for rockets, since they generally have their doors on the sides.

Rockets are meant to land to do their stuff, while dropships are made to drop/abduct on the go.

Devs, get this in the tutorial for goodness' sake.

Thanks everyone. That saved me several more hours of continued frustration.
So yeah, I discovered CC last night and purchased it immediately after the demo. This game is awesome!

So did I - you may enter your billing-details in the usercontrol-panel here at the board to receive a Trooper or Brain-badge under your name.

Thats not a must though.

I did that, I bought the support version, but I don't have either badge. What did I do wrong? I put the email address in..

Scratch that, just tried it again and I got it :D

I love the amount of freedom CC gives you.

I swear it took me forever to figure out how to do that, and it ultimately came down to me desperately looking for CC videos on YouTube, lol.

Questions about operating the game are never stupid.

Data doesn't know what the term documentation means.

That's what made CC a unique experience for me, learn as you go. Allows more creativity in tactics leaving everything open like that, but at least a small diagram for the button layout would be nice.

There's a difference between emergent gameplay (brain wrestling etc) than ♥♥♥♥ that is REQUIRED TO COMPLETE MISSIONS.

My name is Data, and I dont know what a usability study is.

Your game isn't going to be worth ♥♥♥♥ if you can't design it properly. Take a couple courses in human-computer interaction.

Tell him about it then, instead of whining in a thread.
