I've heard of people playing Cortex Command with each other online, not directly, but by using other apps like remote desktop and screen sharing, which are for Windows and Mac respectively. Link here. Has anyone ever thought of this or tried/heard of it? It sounds like a cool idea, but I'm not sure if it would work or not. |

You shouldn't be assumptive and immediately jump to the conclusion that I didn't do a search first, considering I did and couldn't find anything similar to this. Of course, if you insist there's a topic like this, why don't you look for it in 52 pages of topics? I've opened most of these, they are either A, people begging for online multiplayer to be put in, B, people talking about the current offline multiplayer option there is, or C, people talking about their own ideas for an alternative to multiplayer, none of which are similar to what I've heard. |

There was a thread about it a while back, the conclusion was that it wasn't feasible over anything but a local network |

Or a really fast ISP to the nearby area combined with highly powerful compression algorithms and powerful computers at both ends. |

So you would only be able to play online if you had a godly internet connection or were inside the local area of another player? Well, that's something. Might try it out over a LAN connection with a few friends, then. [Thread can be locked] |
