Post Need a good map to mess about in without CPU's bothering me.
I'm looking for a map that is good for messing about on without the hinderance of the CPU's in skirmish or campaign, any suggestions? Thanks.

Usually, AI Test, or one of the other test maps are small
enough for good messing around with on a low-grade CPU.

But, for the maximum messing around experience, I suggest
Grasslands. And a better Processor.

EDIT: I think I misunderstood. If you don't want the Enemies
then you have to edit the Activities.ini in the Base.rte to have this:

Code:
   SpawnIntervalEasiest = 1000000000

On the "GABaseDefense - Skirmish Defense" block of code.

Then when you start any map, set it on easy.

I can't find any Skirmish defence line of code, mine looks like this:

Code:
AddActivity = GABaseDefense
   PresetName = Test Activity
   SceneName = Grasslands
   TeamCount = 2
   PlayerCount = 1
   TeamOfPlayer1 = 0
   FundsOfTeam1 = 1500
   CPUTeam = 1
   Difficulty = 3
   SpawnIntervalEasiest = 25000
   SpawnIntervalHardest = 15000

AddActivity = GABaseDefense
   PresetName = Default Activity
   SceneName = Grasslands
   TeamCount = 2
   PlayerCount = 1
   TeamOfPlayer1 = 0
   FundsOfTeam1 = 1500
   CPUTeam = 1
   Difficulty = 3
   SpawnIntervalEasiest = 25000
   SpawnIntervalHardest = 15000

   AddAttackerSpawn = ACDropShip
      CopyOf = Drop Ship MK1
      AddInventory = AHuman
         CopyOf = Robot 2
         AddInventory = HDFirearm
            CopyOf = SMG
         AddInventory = HDFirearm
            CopyOf = Pistol
         AddInventory = HeldDevice
            CopyOf = Riot Shield
         AddInventory = HDFirearm
            CopyOf = Heavy Digger

Sorry, I must've been using Build 21.

Just do it to the "Default Activity" then.

For convenience, download UniTech mod and it as a no content activities included. I keep UniTech in my CC all the time coz its weapons and modules always comes in handy.

No ad intended.
