Yeah. If they got that right, well, I'm disappointed. Cybernetica sounds more like a cheesy name for a advanced civilized planet, not a gold rush frontier.

Considering the sources, a news site, I REALLY don't trust them. Either they meant that as an arbitrary name, or they're most likely just idiots and made something up. I REALLY DOUBT Data would put a name like that. WAYYYY to cliche.

Re: Planet finally named!
Okay, you guys are totally misunderstanding. They are NOT saying the planet is called cybernetica. Note the fact that the word is not capitalized. BBC generally holds themselves to proper grammar. The word is in quotation marks as it is likely a description someone gave to the world of Cortex Command, being that it is full of cybernetics. They mean that Cortex Command takes place in a world of cybernetics, not that the planet on which it takes place is called "cybernetica".

I still think we should name the moon "orbitlandica".

Re: Planet finally named!
I think we should name the moon the old, traditional caveman name.
"DUHH HUUGGUHHH?
"....RAAAGH, RAAGH RAAAGH"
"hurr."
(processing translation)
"Sky Cheese?"
"....FLOATING CHEESE WHEEL"
"woot."

An as of yet barely reachable frontier that is nonetheless always hanging over us? Sounds good.
