I don't get the brain bot or the explosive charges when I download CC. Is this for the mac version only, or am I missing something?

The PC version does not have the brainbot buyable. He's in the zombie cave mission. I don't know what explosive charges you're talking about, do you mean the blue bombs?

No. There was a time bomb buyable when I played the mac demo at school. My friend has a vista laptop with the brainbot being buyable.

Your friend could have easily made him buyable with a little bit of ini editing. You can check to see if there are any time bombs in the mac version with this version of PC cortex. It has all the mac datafiles converted to PC.

No. He doesn't know about that. He got the IGF demo, but so did I. Then again, I DID replace the Base.rte with my B22 one (For map pack 3.) I don't know.

That would probably do it. The brainbot is part of Base.rte, so you probably overwrote the ini file defining it.

Thats because the Mac build has slightly updated and has better content then the current PC version which is quite outdated. The explosive charge does exist, but it probably only in the mac version.

You'll just have to wait until the B23 comes out to get them.

That might clear things up. I'll recheck, but I'm reasonably sure. He isn't in my buy menu, but Data might've submitted a slightly newer version with it buyable after the problem with the activities.
EDIT: Yep, unless the brain bot is defined somewhere other than Base.rte/Actors/Robots/Robots.ini, he's Buyable = 0. I just downloaded and installed to check.

I haven't messed with Base.rte yet...

HA! The mac prevails! 1 Macs, about 9999999 PCs! (Mostly from mac compatibility issues)

Macs lag like ♥♥♥♥, and have generally compatibility issues, and the only reason why it has not that many viruses, is due to incompatibility, and the fact that hackers don't really care about Macs.

And for me, it seems like Mac is going with an old approach, SMEAR, SMEAR, SMEAR, EXAGGERATE, EXAGGERATE, EXAGGERATE.

Oh, and look for the IGF build, it has what the mac has too.

Buh? I have both a mac and a PC, and have registered both...

the PC seems to have way more features in the editor and the zombie level works properly... on the mac, the zombie level doesn't work properly, I only have three robots and skeletons as actors, and eleven weapons. I deleted it and downloaded again, but it is still like this. And, since the only "working" one is on my windows vista, it crashes, freezes, and quits itself ramdomly. But if I had a working mac version, I'd actually be able to play it...
