It is possible, some mods add an undestroyable weapon called "Punch" or some such. But essentially it's just a very low ranged weapon. Data may decide that it doesn't fit into the game and therefore not do it. As of yet he has not mentioned it.

Right now, you just have to practice body slam. I know...It ain't reliable all the time, but it's hella fun.

For some reason I can't do it anymore, I just end up sliding under the enemy and then they literally walk all over me unless I ram them at speeds that destroys my actor. :oops:

Yeah, body slam... or flip around and burn them with your jetpack. Want a challenge? Beat tutorial bunker using only the three starting dummies you get, without picking up weapons. :P

If you do it just right you can cut out your jetpack, and start doing the walk animation so it kicks them in the head. If you do it well enough it works 100%...

Welcome to the CC Art of BW.

    Crouch > Timing > Jetpack = Dash
      Dash = An essential.

    Jetpack > Timing > Crouch = Bodyslam
      Bodyslam = Essential.

Dashing causes many good things, like a Decapitation ( Decap ) , or a Disarm ( Destroys armor, limbs, or weapons ) , Point Blank ( PB; Point Blank Decap ) , or an Incapacitation ( Incap; distracts, makes them roll out, or shoot each other ) .

it isn't really even like that.

there is melee combat in CC, you just need to know how to manipulate your character in the most deadly ways.

most of us do. Which makes me sad at no multiplayer cause i can tell games would be insanely intense.

Another example is the sneak attack dive. Try to make sure your opponent, computer or human, cannot see you. Then go to a much higher place and jump off, then hold down duck so that you do a front flip and plant your feet into their face. Hard to do, and likely to break your legs as well as their face, but awesome to see....

If you can't get the jetpack dashes to work. Try an AAL pilot. They have a strong jumppack that is much more flexible then a jetpack.

If you do the crouch timing thing. You can knock off the shell of a dreadnaught clean off. Follow it up with a couple smg rounds and it's toast.

When fliping in the air you can effectively "sky pounce"

Just boost up over your enemy, hold duck until your inside down and boost right back down. Instakill.

Oh and the armor is hard enough to resist impact damage like that, so just climb your way out of his dead body and find your next opponent. What is realy fun is carrying only a pistol(non auto) and try to fight only with your pistol and your jump pack. You'll be surprised at how go you get at taking cover and waiting for the right moment

Jumping on dreadnoughts with a medium amount of force kills them.
