Happened using the craft gun. Somehow it must have counted the emitted craft as being on my team and lowered the loss count accordingly.

When a craft is artificially made ( Made NOT by ordering it in ) the cookie that enables craft to exit space without causing the count death to change isn't active, and thus it gives you one.
