This is, I'm sure you guessed, some things I'd like to see implemented, most of which could probably be done with the new lua anyway. -Purchasable armour (perhaps even mix & match different armour - imagine an armoured skeleton!) -Alternative fire modes(such as M203's) -Ability to toggle between burst, full auto, and semi auto (with relevent weapons, of course) So what are all your ideas? |

Belongs to the Personal CC Wishlist thread, these ideas aren't new. |

What if just made a skeleton that HAS the armor already? billi999 wrote: -Ability to toggle between burst, full auto, and semi auto (with relevent weapons, of course) Useless. The player can fire in bursts just by tapping the fire key rapidly. |

If you think that about cortex command, why don't you complain about that on call of duty, medal of honour, and other FPS's or shooters with burst fire? numgun wrote: billi999 wrote: -Purchasable armour (perhaps even mix & match different armour - imagine an armoured skeleton!) The price difference between an armored cloen and unarmored ones is only about 20oz, so saving money is hardly necessary. As for the Burst fire, it really isn't needed either, nor will it really add anything to this game. |

I have never played those games and I have no interest in them. The only game that has burst fire, is ballistic weapons mod for ut2k4 and even then it was all optional and toggleable. And the fact that I can shoot in bursts without the actual burst mode still made it useless. Just press the fire button in bursts. thats it. billi999 wrote: What if you only want some of the armour to save money? Tbh, when I buy an actor, I make sure he already has everything. Including armor. This is because in CC actors die really easy and trying to "equip" additional armor is very unpractical. In either case the actor would have to pick it up and hold it in his inventory or equip immediatly making the entire process useless when he could have just come preordered WITH the armor. The only thing that I can suggest for you is using shields. They are the closest thing you can get. |

If you want a better loadout, create several variants of an actor. Instead of just light and heavy soldier, have -Recon/Scout (ultralight) -Light-duty (maybe a helmet) -Standard (helmet, light chestplate) -Full armor (greaves, thicker chestplate, helmet, second mask) -Walking Wall (enough attachments to make the KMF blush). Same applies to everything else; create several variants. Even Dreadnaughts could work- in fact, they'd be even easier. Just remove a layer of armor and voila, it's lighter. Collapsible categories remove the bloated menu problem. Burst fire, etc. is one of those nice-to-have things. It's another Lua, create Internet scenario- it's a might be if lua is attached to guns. |
