Hey, my CC has been having some problems with the sounds. It started when I got B21 and I found out when the AAL Marine's "Affirmative" was all morphed and messed up. It worked fine before I got B21. Any help? EDIT: How the heck did I miss the support forums button? Sorry about that. |

Um. B21 has an integrated sound distortion feature that slows down sounds as the game slows? |

It doesn't sound slowed down. More like, slowed down and on the other side of a wall and tossed into a blender. |

You could reinstall CC to see if that helps, or find your latest sound drivers. |

Okay so I'm not sure you get how this works. You see when you make a thread asking for help, you usually at least try the advice proferred, especially if it's perfectly valid and customary advice such as reinstalling the game. |

What's so hard about finding your sound drivers? Honestly now, at least try what is being suggested |

Sorry, I was annoyed at someone when I wrote that there. Do I have to reinstall all my mods if I reinstall the game? |

No, just move them to a separate folder while you re-install. |

Ugh. I'm starting to get some distortion in my sound as well. It just started out of nowhere. The music and sounds start to get scratchy, and audio pops start playing. The problem gets progressively worse as time goes on and Ctrl+O doesn't help. |

It's spreading... I would say you're running out of RAM. Could be wrong, but not having enough buffer space could do that. Try getting rid of some mods and run it again. |

I think I've localized the problem. Skype video is soaking up too much of my comps resources, even when idle. Closing it remedies the problem it seems after restarting CC. |

Its just the new slow mo thing in CC that causes it. I do get the same "bwooahh" sound instead of the normal "affirmative" when using my marines, but really, its just how CC works right now. You can make the CC work like the old times by pressing Ctrl + O (letter, not the number) and then fix the speed with 1 and 2 keys to adjust the speed. Now the sounds will work fine, but no smooth slowmo is present anymore. |

The sound issue has been here since at least build 20, maybe 19 too... I've had the problem but never posted about it for a long time. It kinda doesn't matter if you turn the sound down though. It makes it really hard to tell the difference between normal and completely fud'ed up. |
