Post subject:  Amount of money in multiplayer

Hi,

Excuse me if that question has already been answered but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Is there a way to change the amount of gold you start with in multiplayer mode? I'm talking about 2 players playing against each other, in different teams.

I tried to edit activities.ini but just couldn't figure that out - my changes simply doesn't work.


Any help would be really appreciated.

FundsOfTeam1 = *value*

Change ALL instances of this to be sure.

That's what I've already tried - doesn't work in duel mode. Although, it works pretty well when both players play in the same team against CPU.

I've also tried adding FundsOfTeam2 = *value* - still no effect.

You're changing the instances of FundsofTeam in activities.ini, correct?

For reasons unknown to me, these changes seemingly doesn't work in multiplayer.
Your best bet would be to make something have a ridiculously low (Or is it high?)
negative cost. That way, you'll receive money when buying it.

Oh right, multiplayer.

That's because activities defines what the AI spawns, and there's no AI in multiplayer, hence it doesn't use activities.

Yeah, negative costs on the brain bunker or the concrete block or something are the way to go.

Here you go. A grenade that, when bought, gives you loads of money. Just keep the .rte in your CC folder.
