I recently turned the music volume down to 0 and blasted the UK soundtrack for Cyber City Oedo 808 in the background. The result was awesome. Perhaps Data or Prom or whoever makes the soundtrack could take some influence from this? Admittedly it wouldn't work very well if they're going for a lighter tone with the game, as the soundtrack is like KMFDM on speed, but as it stands it does a fine job. Warning - all of these have samples from the English dub of CCO808 mixed in, and that dub contains a fair bit of cursing. To be honest, "Trucking" was the only one I could see working with CC. And now that I've read your post again, a cyber-punk kind of feel to the music would be a good change. Especially if it were made by the team then they wouldn't have to use those that you've suggested. God I feel like an idiot. I like these tracks. CC could use more of this. |

I don't think music with lyrics is something I could enjoy CC to, but that's just me. I love the opening song. |
