Found it randomly. Got bored, did my usual free game search stumbled upon this and YES it was the greatest physics game yet.
Well i got hooked, made my first gun a day after that, started bio-faction a week after that and yeah still at it. Haha you make it sound like build 22 was forever ago. Been here since build 8 or 9. I think I found it when I just googled physics game

Re: How did you find Cortex Command? Had a friend of mine (DuckThatSits) recommend it to me. Duck isn't the most brief person... He ranted about it for about an hour and a half. And then he nearly did it to me again.

Re: How did you find Cortex Command? Around 2006 there was a thread about it on Facepunch, been following CC from then on, pretty much. I think I joined the forums around Build 8.

I was on an IRC channel and someone linked to mail2345's zombie mission (I think it was mail), so I clicked it, saw all the positive reactions to it and downloaded the game. After I got past the learning curve, it was fun and I bought it 5 hours after I started playing.

Somebody on /v/ randomly posted a screen shot and said "my arms are missing what do I do???" The rest is history.
