Re: B27 is almost here!
All I know is: When B27 is released, I will be spending the rest of the day conducting A.I, massacre on a metagame level It's gonna be epic! I will also start working on making use of B27 for mods. Woots!

Re: B27 is almost here!
I'm gonna re-download Swarm (good ol' map from Weege) and use it on the Metagame (I think you can, because right now, If i try the Campaign, I've got 94 Sites where to play, compared with the normal 13 sites).

Re: B27 is almost here!
Sorry for the double post, but this is important:
FROM THE DEV LOG:
UPDATE2: First release candidate for build27 has been committed! now it’s a matter of testing a little and porting to the fairer platforms (OSX and linux). Won’t be long now.. if our webserver holds. Remember, if you bought from the Humble Bundle or Humble Store, you can get the new version on the same page as you did before when the new build drops! (please don’t hammer our site)

Re: B27 is almost here!
Was just reading through the Cortex Fluff to pass the time when I noticed this
"As man started to explore the stars, it soon became obvious that she was not alone. She also found out that she wasn't all that interesting to most of the aliens out there, at least not to begin with."
wat?

Yup. Ah, something like 3 minutes ago the forum crashed, so I believed that the B27 was out, but it wasn't : ( It's 21:22 in Italy, now I'm going to have dinner, I'm hoping to find the B27 when I return ^^

Re: B27 is almost here!
Well, the final exe is committed to the server, I'm assuming. That may be what's causing the lag. Or the absurd amount of people on the forum waiting... Could be that too.

44 guests though. And more just hanging out refreshing the dev blog. That puts alot of strain on the server.

Quote: First release candidate for build27 has been committed for testing and porting to the fairer platforms Porting depends a lot in how the code is laid out, but since it's Allegro, it should be pretty straightforward. Testing, however, is another story. If this release candidate is good to go, I'd say at least a couple of hours until it's available for download on both sites.
