We were in a boring IT lesson in schoole and we were supposed to be learing bout HTML but we got bored and my friend showed me it Back ages ago before the dropship. I think it was the 2nd last build that you have to throw gold into the ship.

A long time ago, I decided to research Worms for some reason, and that research led me to Liero/Gusanos.

And after looking up those two games, I then found a forum post about Cortex Command.

Now I'm hooked, as few things are more satisfying than watching a clone suddenly explode in a spray of red pixels from one shot of your weapon, as is totally destroying the terrain, pixels flying everywhere. And then you have to love shooting off one of the dropship's engines and watching it smash right into its recently-dropped-off cargo, creating a nice, bloody mess.

So why didn't I register until now?

-I have enough forum accounts as-is (and you can bet that I've spread the word about this game on those forums)
-Now you can't download mods without being logged in
-Maybe, just maybe, this community isn't going to unload overpowered weapons all wielded by a Crobo army just because I decided to stop by and say hello

they had a gif, and a 'cortex command' in the bottom corner of it.
i searched, and here i am.
and i havent stoped playing.
granted, i missed a few builds when i moved.
i started v.13 i got to v14, moved, and started and now its 18... wow...

I found CC on a Finnish gaming magazine called "Pelit" (roughly translated: Games), where they had a short story of free games that could give something to do at those rainy summer nights. It was B13 back then, and now I'm hooked!
