Re: CC in 3D!?!?!?!?
eh, same difference. actually no, it would be tribes meets the atomontage engine and soldier of fortune... or postal 2
still wouldn't be CC though, it would be a completely different game

Re: CC in 3D!?!?!?!?
The main thing that would make an atomontage shooter game rise above all other shooters is how you could potentially hide in random crater holes made from artillery rounds.

Re: CC in 3D!?!?!?!?
You could actually do that in the BF3 alpha, then they took it out for some dumbfound reason.

Re: CC in 3D!?!?!?!?
Guys, I found this amazing game with deformable terrain. There's dirt, concrete, steel and even sand (WOWZA) and you can dig all the fox holes you like.
Its called Cortex Command.
But seriously now, a 3D game with deformable terrain would be nice.

Re: CC in 3D!?!?!?!?
It wouldn't work as well in 3D. That's another dimension for objects to go flying off in, which means they'll miss more often, and my favourite part of CC is being killed by a door from an exploded dropship from halfway across the map.

Re: CC in 3D!?!?!?!?
I think cortex command would lose it's vibe if it was 3d, i prefer 2d imo.

Re: CC in 3D!?!?!?!?
Here's a wacky insane retarded idea:
The 3D and 2D versions are different and can be played separately.
BECAUSE ITS NOT LIKE THEY WOULDN'T BE ANYWAY. But no seriously you guys. C'mon. You could still play the 2D one.
So stop complaining about 'lol it wuld ruin da feelz of te game!1' because it wouldn't. It would be a different game so it doesn't have a feel to be broken. It may be based on the original, but if all sequels were just copies, who would want to play them?

Re: CC in 3D!?!?!?!?
OK, Just an idea but wouldn't it be easiest to use an engine like red faction 1 because it allow you to dig your way threw the terrain with a few improvements you could easily add building physics.
Or we could just get someone or a team to outline every thing that everyone wants and then create an engine to suit that.

Re: CC in 3D!?!?!?!?
yeah, lets just conjure up a team of people who can program 3D destructable games and get them to make us a game, for free, with no incentive, and force them to build an engine to our liking.
another great idea by sims.
