Re: Enforcers' CC multiplayer room
P2P would be better for 2 player. I wonder if we have anyone technically adept enough to write some software. :p

Re: Enforcers' CC multiplayer room
Maybe we should try some more gimmiks before that. I've been considering the possibility of having a virtual machine running a vnc at tiny resolutions, like 400*300.

Re: Enforcers' CC multiplayer room
I've tried VNC and tight vnc, they were very poor and unoptimised compared to this program. But yes, there are plenty of things to try. Quote: P2P would be better for 2 player. P2P? Isn't that that playstation related device?

Re: Enforcers' CC multiplayer room
If I haven't said it allready, the fps is alot better now; but at the expense of an environment background. Also the viewer only displays CC rather than my whole screen, as the application sharing function has suddenly decided to work.

Re: Enforcers' CC multiplayer room
Also I don't think I thought to mention, that other people can host games simultaneously in my room. It's the same way you would do it if you are the host. Also, I think you can disable people from viewing your screen, so that not everybodies window is cluttered with everybodies games.

Re: Enforcers' CC multiplayer room
Could you change the title to "Enforcer's ONLINE PLAY room"? I want to see that bump up next to the "THERE WILL NEVER BE ONLINE PLAY" thread.
So uh... How fast are things going now? Is a CC vs tournament feasible?

Re: Enforcers' CC multiplayer room
You are vociferously refusing to admit that even one iota of what you are saying is wrong in any way.
That is not the way to conduct an intelligent argument.
From here on, discussion in this topic will relate to the administration, participation, or expeditious completion of the topic of this thread; CC screen sharing.
There will be no discussion of how great of an idea anyone just had, or how amazingly easy it would be, or how the source code should be released to someone who really wants to help or anything along those lines.
Keep it on topic. Don't say how easy things would be unless you know the limitations of the engine, and don't tell the content devs (who actively work with Data) how Data thinks or should think.

Re: Enforcers' CC multiplayer room
maby by the time CC is done, the internet will be fast enough for it to be laggless. itmt, why dont you shrink down the screen size so that it shows less pixels and laggs less.
