A post on the picture wars forums alerted me. I bought the game as soon as data started selling it. Enjoyed it since.

Well I read about it in the swedish PC Gamer magazine, and it sounded really awesome, so I downloaded and tested it (build 22) for a while, and shortly after build 23 was released, I bought it, support Datar Realms edition, coz I really want this game to become something!

Oh man, I barely remember... I think it was on a greatgamesexperiment? Maybe?
Could have been looking up indie games... it was two years ago, I think, and I was playing a lot of BSF and Toribash.

I can't remember, it was back in B18... YouTube got me into it I think, I was searching up Mr.Roboto on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBtZk13miAE (Really old song, has a nice beat to it, cheesey like everything in 1980.) I saw Cortex Command Mr.Roboto (Can't find a link.) and googled Cortex Command up. I was hooked, until I got B21, it casued my game to lag, so I gave it up. About 3 weeks ago I redownloaded Cortex Command in hopes it would run better on my PC. (It was crap.) It didn't, but I got a new PC. (My old PC was getting slower and I wanted to move on anyway.) I went to CC again, it was 100 times better, and it drags me here.

Saw it on a download site. They had build 14 on it. Later, I remembered about the game and searched "Cortex Command" in google. I landed here, on the Data Realms website, and downloaded the game once again, and this time it was build 18.

Some guy I knew asked me if I had heard of it. My response was "Cortex Command? Sounds like a kind of toothpaste."

That's the kind of replies I get when I talk to my friends about the game. That or... "Wow, that sounds nerdy."

Same here, but I do have some friends who are just as nerdy as me, and I have recruited them all (although they haven't joined the forums)

On-Topic, though. I read a one-page article about CC in a gaming magazine. Curiosity (and a screenshot involving the brutal slaughter of a poor zombie in the Zombie Cave) did the rest.

I think I googled physics games and this showed up somewhere. I've been here since maybe build 7?

I was hoping I'd be the only facepuncher to link in here. Anyway, found it there, fell in love with the rocket hitting troops gif, fell in love mid-late B22, bought at B23.

Now if friends tell me "oh hey check out [INSERTSHITHOUSEFALLINGSANDGAMEVARIANT]" I go there then immediately reply
"wow...that's so ♥♥♥♥"
or
"hey fudger, checkout this badass game instead!"

I found it through MaximumPC. It was on their monthly CD in the games section. I think it was build 16-18 when I played. I forgot about CC for awhile, and only recently discovered mods.

I thought I'd be the only Facepuncher on here.

I found it through that thread, downloaded the build 18 (Or maybe it was 17) demo and after playing it for 2 minutes or so I decided that I would buy it.
