This is more of a deepgroup issue than anything, clones dont dig into the ground unless they are pushed in.

Holy cow.

This thread sure got intense since I last checked it. :P
Good to hear that Capnbubs is gonna do something about it.

At 13.07.09 I'll be leaving for the finnish army (mandatory for all men in finland :P) so my activity on CC devving will be reduced ALOT. The army usually takes a half year, maybe even 9 monts or a even up to a whole year. During that time they might sometimes let us go home for weekends (not always). In anycase, you wont be seeing me much after that until I get out from there.

And after that I'll probably spend some time trying to find my own place to live in and find a job/apply to a school or something. But until that, I'll release BW and hopefully get someone to script the tournament thing for and do an update on AAL before I go.

Yeah, until the game goes gold, improvements are more important than any kind of backwards compatibility. If Data wanted to turn half the engine on its head for the sake of a better game, we wouldn't have much grounds to argue with him about it.

About the Midas faction: sounds interesting, I wouldn't mind giving some input in regards to "realistic" weapons. I'm primarily working on my own mod right now though.

i think if we all worked together to submit a faction like the one we are talking about here, this "midas" faction, we ourselves could steer the modding community on the right course. I personally think this type of thing would be invaluable to a beginner modder, some real content that could be formed into what they reallly want, a canvas that we can paint upon whatever we want. I think if We all could pitch in to make some basic mods, all one faction, to be used in future cc builds, we could have something really great here, and we could all pitch in to make the final game even greater.

p.s.: does cortex command have a mod team?
