Well, maybe the casings weight to much? The terrain isn't dense enough? I'm stil a noob at the coding, but maybe you can try lowering the weight of the casings?

I find the idea that someone would spam for post count extremely sad.

It's just slow because lots of people will be downloading at once. I have to say that the team have done a good job of ensuring that the server manages the traffic.

MILES T3H R4T's COMPLETE GUIDE TO B23! Including comments

First of all you'll notice that the shells dig into the ground. why not just oh, change the mass of them? make them gib? if the shells gib they can't pile up. I'm just gonna leave the acid-shells in though, until its fixed. its worth a laugh because not every gun does it.

Second, New missions. The one with the giant crab. I didn't buy anything, that map has a major bug. I got the giant crab to chase me, and I flew up in the air and it jumped at me, right off the map. the new version of magino (or however the crap its spelled) at first was near impossible for me, until I realized... Wait, the AI is still retarded isn't it?... I bought the nice new digger that eats megametal like cotton candie, a nice rocket proppeled chainsaw, and the foam can thing. Step 1, block off specific doors with foam. Step 2 Dig a hole streight down your base, so that the 'path of least resistance, avoids your holes, and follows the normal path, do this by, blocking it with foam. it becomes terrain, and the AI avoids blocked paths if they don't lead to your brain. then just dig to the chaimber by the brain. Wait for it to tell you to get out, and then go streight up your sealled off hole, and into a dropship. thats about as far as I got, my brain actor got stuck in the tunnel and something exploded him... that was after nearly 20 minutes of fiddling.

Another new mission is the assault on the dummy base... omg thats fun but you don't start with jack. It took me using an uber-weapon just to get half way. I kept getting killed. Also I'd like to mention that on default settings I was getting 0.35% timescale right off the bat because of how FUDGE HUGE it is. I was so happy.





Other new wonderful additions, and one of my favorites, is the Color-coded explosives. On the tutorial map, I covered the top of my base in red, the tunnel going down in blue, and the floor under it green. I tiggered the AI, they walked onto the bombs, BOOM they mostly die... they drop down And BOOM dead before they land.... and then they get to the bottom BOOM they die... and my brain gets hit with shrapnel... So much fun.


Another wonderful addition is the Browncoats. they might look like CRobos, and they might have been made by him, but there not. They actually DIE. there awesome and they take a while to die, but omg someone has to turn one into the HEV suit, after all GORDON! One of the ronins, who looks like everyone's favorite nerd in a hazmat suit, is named GORDON now. I had a bit of a fangazm at that. all we need now is a vanilla content crowbar.


Among other things in this mod, one of the most disappointing is the addition of Whitebots.rte... why is this a disappointment? It adds the whitebots? no... it has there new little module icon which is kinda cool, it has an index and a devices folder thats EMPTY! There is NOTHING in whitebots.rte except a fudge ICON! TEASE! YOU TEASE! [/RAGE]

But all this aside, I digress.

There are many wonderful goodies hidden about, however I have heard mention of teleporters and moving platforms... I havent yet enjoyed the skirmish mode yet... to busy with missions.

Does anyone know of any easter-eggs hidden in the code? like the last build's famed anti-gravity chocolate? The only things I have seen is that I changed Buyable = 0 to Buyable = 1 for ALL of the wildlife so I could buy giant crabs.


Overall I am very happy, it doesn't seem to have broken my mods, which Other than the one I made for the mod making contest I haven't actually USED any of them. HOWEVER there are SEVERAL bugs that NEED adressed.

One minor bug that has been mentioned is Acid shells. A few others that didn't get mentioned, is with the ronins. One of them supposedly sees farther, I have not yet understood how or if that works. I know it can be done, as it was done in the past, but it doesn't seem to have been.

A 3rd again with the ronins, is one that is supposed to run faster... they do, but there limpaths and such are all messed up and they limp they sort of step and leap and step and leap, instead of actually running. the walkpath/limpath whatever it is, needs fixed.


And over all those bugs are ONLY in the ini's and not actual source-code which ALSO has bugs. you know the bug with fire becoming terrain? I think it happens MORE now. it even affects the rocket proppelled chainsaw. Sometimes it explodes like its supposed to, others it just turns into terrain, when you most need it to explode. its always nice to watch them spin around though.



Overall I'd say this is a fantastic build, that gave us way more than we hoped for. Everyone was going "OMG LUA! LUA LUA LUA LUA!" and what did we get? new factions, several new FANTASTIC missions, BOSSES, new music, new types of bunker-modules, bosses, heavy units that are actually super-heavy, a TON of new maps like "POINTY MOUNTAIN", and boy is it pointy, and gordon F-ing freeman.

Oh yeah, and that lua stuff.

way better than expected. it just needs a little more shining, and some bits of dirt and dust need flicked off. and the whitebots and browncoats need filled in. although, I personally would have expected the browncoats and the ronins to be the same faction, considering you'd have gordon, and then what looks like a big white HEV suit. that and the browncoats look epic with the RPCSs.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to go give the dummys crabs.
