Re: Modding Theme of the X Time Period *Go Vote!
Man, i'm torn between Lava Gun and Stone Fist. Lava Gun has really snazzy effects, but Stone Fist is... Well, unique. Hmm. I think Stone Fist gets my vote because of originality, though it was a close call. :U As for what i would choose... Uhh... It's still a mystery!

Angry Angry Rainbow Cannon, for sheer awesome.
PS -> Throwing this up there in case whoever wins doesn't have a solid idea for the next theme; Mounts. Whether they be mecha or manned turrets or bears/flying sharks, being able to get on and off a mount during gameplay is awesome. I think there are maybe two or three of those out there as of now, having some more would be great a++.
EDIT: Guess that kind of goes with the Transportation/Movement thing Contrary suggested, though.

Whilst that would be a pretty cool theme, though ideally we would have a nice template for the Lua illiterate to work from. Otherwise you'll won't get very many entries. (see AI theme)

But I wouldn't make it restricted, so people have the chance to edit and/or completely rework whatever scripts we're given.

I voted for the Angry Angry Rainbow Cannon because of the guitars. I just have that thing for Rock and Roll.
Anyway, I'd like to see another No-Lua contest. This was fun.

No-Lua faction. That would take a while.

That one! That one! I doubt it would raise modding activity, we have like 500 no lua factions.

Yeah, but I'm busy making one now and it would be nice to release it in a competition.

Unless one of the rules for the theme was: "Entry must never have been publicly released on the forums.", in which case you'd be just about the only person. In retrospect, that was a rubbish suggestion.
