Re: So, official orders from devs
1:increase browncoat awsomeness 2:make it impossible to load more than 10 units/items on a craft, I onc emanaged to put in so many crabs into a crate that it caused an earthquake that destroyed EVERYTHING on the map.

Increase the MOID count so that heads exploding randomly won't be a problem.

No. Just no. Because it's fun to put a bunch of crabs together and watch them fight to their deaths. Also, some more BALLISTIC dummy weapons could not hurt, because right now only weapons i see fitting to the dummies are the nailers (and the revolver cannon too).

I actually think the first and probably most important thing that needs to be done is optimization of CC's engine (Even at the current state) and allowing GPU usage. It would boost FPS and will most likely allow higher MOID counts without crazy lag.

How the hell could LFOW optimize the engine of CC?

I think he meant what I last said, which was to make my own tutorial. Needed a quote button.

Re: So, official orders from devs
1: ..Make an actual campaign with some kind of point, rather than a few missions that have little to do with anything.
2: Fix the movement AI - my soldiers very rarely will actually engage the enemy if behind cover, as they are too busy compacting themselves into a tiny fetal ball against said cover. Its awful.
3: The dismemberment system is awesome, however there should be considerably more wounding options. Add internal organs and a skeletal structure to the actors, with corresponding lung/brain/etc use.
In my own opinion, if any of these three things (if any ONE of these three things) were added, I and a few others would gladly buy the game. As it stands, its just a way to kill a little bit of time and encourage modders to really go wild with creative thinking (not a bad thing).

Frankly, I think that all ballistic dummy weapons should be change to energy. More diversity that way.

Kruniac: 1. That's currently in progress. 2. (I really am hoping and probably am right that) that's currently in progress. 3. That would be pretty hard to pull off given the way the system is currently done, and, with actors that are admittedly pretty tiny on the screen, probably wouldn't be worth the extra effort and processing power.

Re: So, official orders from devs
I read large part of this thread and i acclaim with this ideas:
1. More durable materials specialy doors and bunker parts, but dirt and rocks also.
2. Less fuel in jetpacks, more climbing abilities.
3. Less powerfull and accurate weapons or more durable actors (to make firefights last a bit longer)
My 2 cents: The mining requires too much micromanagement. I suggest to replace gold with diamonds or somethng similar. The diamond ore or diamond crystals would be much much harder to mine ,far more valuable and diamond fields would be scarce. You could bring a actor to diamond ore and let the AI mine for a long time creating a steady income. This would make such mining sites a valuable thing to hold and deffend and thus adding a strategic aspect to every battle. (Note the material could stay gold but as i said it should create a steady income and not a quick money bonus.)

Ok, 1.Tweak materials cause its too easy to break into bunkers. 2.Tweak jetpacks cause its easy and looks silly to hover over battlefield. 3.Im taking back what i said about guns, i had low resolutions and so i couldn't see far, that's why the firefights were so quick. ...my bad. Tweak gold to be harder to mine and less common and to give you smaller amount of money but over longer periods of time.
