From the last one: "Early in the war the idea of dropping objects from above to cause damage on the enemy took hold. Many improvised objects such as rocks and bricks were used as well as hand grenades. The process was a very crude affair: the pilot or observer would manually drop the object over the side of the fuselage and hope he had hit something or someone.."

Yeah, I knew about the use of stones and hand bombs in ancient aerial warfare, but the image of Freiherr von Richthofen, diving into the enemy lines sabre in hand should be awesome.

This is tangentially related to this issue because I am dropping these guys directly on the enemy brains,

but

is it reasonable that I should be able to drop-rocket down 5-10 dummies with impulse cannons and fly them over en-mass to my enemy and kill all his dudes and his brain with airborn one hit kills in about 5 seconds?

I mean jesus I thought I'd give dummies a go because I was owning too much as coalition but this is ridiculous.

Jesus christ, two enemies just attacked my site and I killed both of them with a single impulse cannon shot before they'd even landed.

ONE SHOT

I just had a fantastic idea, what about; BASE SYSTEMS!

You could have a satellite dish type thing that would be place within your base which doubles your landing zone.

If you lacked one or it was destroyed then your dropping space would be narrowed to the immediate area around your brain.

You could go as far as to have other base objectives too, maybe a shield generator that needs to be taken down prior to accessing shielded areas (e.g. disabling the sheild around the telecomms dish.)

Hm... yes... i see where you are coming from.

Things like stationary turrets, that were really good, but had to be manned, nano assemblers for troops, and weapons.
Maybe even fighter aircraft, that you have to launch from a runway, or something.

All good ideas.
