Like hell it does! This one looks much nicer: http://www.h4x3d.com/feat/themes/red-apple.jpg

Red apples beat green ones any day.

Post Re: MAC BUILD IS OUT
I'm running the mac version, and it's really nice. It takes a significant amount of simultaneous carnage to provoke the tiniest bit of lag.

I have run into two issues: First is, a majority of mods have trouble with paths. This happens with the / vs \ , but also with file names. After correcting the backlashes, I keep getting errors about the same files, with the properly formatted address, but lacking the extension (i.e. Effects/BlueFlash, and not BlueFlash.bmp for Crobotech). This I don't know how to solve.

The other issue is probably specific to my system, but I can't seem to map my Logitech gamepad properly. The D-pad acts as a toggle, meaning I walk, crounch, or jetpack for as long as I don't press another direction, in which case I will start doing the new move ad infinitum. Those who played the old Clonk titles can relate.

EDIT: Most mods can be fixed by an extensive ini cleaning, to replace every \ with /. The file extension issue is irrelevant.

CC just doesnt report the extension usually.

also, backslashes only occur when someone ♥♥♥♥ up their coding. like numgun, on ocassion. forward slashes are what is used in CC .ini coding.

It's the last MacBook build before they started doing the glossy black screens. 2.5 Ghz C2D with still the original 2 Gb DDR2 SDRAM.

New stuff includes some folder mixing (of course), the new preset panel in the buy menu (not entirely done yet), the Uber Cannon (the new Vanilla way of raping mods  ). i think there has been some reorganization of the factions in the buy menu, but I'm unfamiliar with the last builds. I think I had spent some time playing with B18 on a previous Windows comp before I picked up this one, so I'm figuring out what's new based on the discussions here.

Whenever I try to start it, it bounces up in the dock for a second or two then stops.

No idea what's wrong with it.

What's noticeably different:

*Weapon names wrap if too long.
    *Coalition weapons got a makeover.
*The objective arrows that can get annoying at times...

i made all that ♥♥♥♥.

maybe i should make a pack. and an activities.

even packing the rocklet rifles and the .45 cal pistols with as i put it "special propellant in the cartridges that make the cartridge's power that of a magnum".. my k/d mostly can be 2/1 k/d, mostly cause i just play around though... and the dreadnoughts i deploy against myself have much improved armor, speed, and a gun that kills coalition heavies with a half second of sustained fire. You basically need an entire coalition rpg clip to take them out.

scratch that.. i'm actually really good at it, 5/1 k/d i just got, easy.
