Re: Does the AI try to avoid death hotspots, or line of fire?
Wow The AI has really gotten pissed of over the years I'm sitting where with my steroid pump actor mowing down hordes of zombies, clones, and god knows what (taking minimal damage) when all of a sudden they stopped firing I'm thinking to myself that data programed a bunch of pussies when out of no where a clone pops out of the ground and put a shotgun round in my arse I was thinking ah hell na he just shot in my arse. With the crimson trail leaking out of my newly acquired butt hole I turn myself around about to unleash HELL's wrath on his scrony little back side. I said out loud he ripped me 1 new butt hole I'm going to rip you 20. But right before I clicked the mouse I got fuking gang raped by a brash of bullets no head shot insta kill crap ether they f'ing unloaded on my body purposely missing my head until I was just a half dead mess bleeding on the ground. I had 1 grenade and 1 arm left I though I could get a quick kill before I died so I chucked it into the approaching crowd of enemies, but just before I could get a good laugh in the grenade flew right back with FRIENDS and I got blow to mother fuking smithereens the end From my experience the AI is a little too smart for my taste

I find it kind of funny that the AI will now keep unloading into dead bodies for a few seconds after they die. Makes my little ceiling turrets seem much more bad-ass awesome..

Thanks! [edit] Didn't work. here's the error

They want to make sure they've killed your epic semi-invincible actor. Honestly though, I've noticed that the AI have been pulling all kind of dirty tricks out of their asses.

The guys shouldn't drop that close to your brain though. Honestly, ANY thing that defends your base form dropping guys is destroyed quickly by debris falling from directly above. It sucks. Does make you feel a bit more like your actually trying to survive though.

i know its been happening for a while, but like waaay more. like just about every actor or at least every second actor thats decapitated goes for a long tumble. wth. Jackzon47 wrote: Didn't work. here's the error sorry, Drop Ship MK1 and Dummy Drop Ship if the dummy one doesnt work, ohwell. Drop Ship MK1 definitely does. the dummy one should. the activities by numgun contains both dropships anyway.

Re: Does the AI try to avoid death hotspots, or line of fire?
The AI is now sadistic as well, in Zombie cave, i decided i would only use the brain bot. He got into the cave and then a grenade killed his gun i was like "aww well" and kept going, then two zombies with no bombs started pushing me on my ass, finally i fell flat on the ground and he deliberately crouched onto my legs, smashing them. So i tried to fly away and pick up some bombs, right as I was about to hit the button to throw it they chucked a bomb at me and as soon as i let go, it detonated blowing up my arms and knocking my bot to 20 hp.They then proceeded to stomp m bot to death. it was a horrible 5 minute long experience.

oh, offtopic, but Jackzon47, never ever post a .bmp for a screendump again. that was rediculous. 700kB to see what the problem is is something i wont do again for you.

Now matter how smart the AI gets, they still won't be able to outsmart a nuke.
