Some kind of Survival scene where you gather resources to survive would be pretty entertaining. Gathering wood to build shelter. Hunting for well.. Food. and Maybe some kind of Upgrading System. To me that would be worth my hour of time but I dont know how it would work with a sidescroller type of game. That just might be the next theme if I win. Survival

AI how though? If it's only AI modifications a la Lua, it won't be very satisfying unless everyone does something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT which could lead to complications because we're not adding onto the game's content, we're messing with one core engine function.

It isn't that obtuse. As long as your mod revolves around something with Lua code on it to make act differently than normal, you're good.

I counted four entries Thats pretty dissapointing. I was expecting like tigres and other wildlife and crap but that just shows my hopes were up too high again.. And yes I guess AI would be a good one, I will have to see which one I like more though

Hmm. I think this may have died. I could be wrong of course, we might get some last minute entries.
Personally, I partially held off on this one and the Wildlife theme because of the current rating system. It would just be a lot better if people had one vote, which went to their favourite mod of the contest.
The current system does generally encourage ratings out of ten, which I would say aren't often helpful.

A little thought: Place winner might be some AI guardian, something in the lines of Hyper Ninja WTFzOMGLOL an AI-driven actor armed with a unique weapon and can perform various moves out of random.
EDIT: Somehow 'Stick Rangers' came into mind.
