CC is a very well known indie game. Many, many more than 50 users have bought the game and many, many more forum members have come and gone from activity.

It takes me unti page 10 to get sub-100 posts - about 380 members have been involved enough to post 100 or more times, and that's since the thor related forum reset years ago. Thousands of people download the popular mods.
The community has been up and down. Sure, it's more insular than other communities but that's hardly an indication of how many people own the game.

Also, as TLB said, yelling about CC elsewhere is more likely to annoy people on other forums than bring more people here.
