Then I don't know what to do for you. The last option I know of is to move the entire Cortex Command directory to somewhere you own, like My Documents or the Desktop, and try again.

Check different missions. If I remember correctly, they're all lined up neatly in a row somewhere on the planet. It's been a while since I've used Map Pack.

Tutorial: Installing Map Pack 3

1. Start by finding this:

2.Next, you are going to need a mouse. Find a mouse:

3. Now use the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON (shown below) to download the attachment.

4. Assuming you had winrar, this should appear:

5. Now hold and drag the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON (refer to step 3) to select the files.

6. After selecting the files, hold and drag the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON (refer to step 3) to extract the files to the installation folder.

7. You're almost there! Now use the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON (refer to step 3) to open base.rte
Image

8. Now use the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON (refer to step 3) to open scenes.ini
Image

9. For the next step, you are going to need a keyboard. Find a keyboard.
Image

10. Now input the missing line with the KEYBOARD (refer to step 9)
Image

11. Now here comes the hard step: You must use the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON rapidly twice (refer to step 3, then refer to step 3) to launch Cortex Command.exe

12. That's it, you're done! Select a level on the map and play!

Notice that you need to select the gamemode "Skirmish defense" before any of those dots will show up.

Guys i dont think i have the Cortex command version you have. Maybe that is why those map packs dont work.

Windows 7 dosen't like much of anything, Mainly because the system changes.

i think its because Cortex Command is X32 and Windows 7 is X86

I play it in W7 without a problem.

I suppose you've got to install it in the desktop for ex., or maybe the guy who uploaded it there uploaded a version with broken files.
