I've paid 18 bucks for this too. To be honest, even if it isn't going anywhere. I still had my 18 bucks worth of entertainment from the previous build.

18 bucks isn't an amount of cash to be desperate for a game. I actually think it's pretty cheap, considering other games.

But the point is that those 18 bucks aren't lost unless the community disappears, and that is far from happening.
