toss up between drop crab and strange seed. strange seed won due to the drop crab's lack of gibs and inability to travel over seams, sadly.
Seriously though, whoever did the plant gets props.

other notes:
    brain crab: i loved it, especially it's wiggly legs (though i was disappoint at no custom sprites), but the control seemed a tad awkward and stopped it winning. very nice concept though, A+ coding.
    the portable turret: if it had more interesting gibs, and slightly less raep cannon, probably would have won. damn cool little dude, not good at walking though.
    Nuka Thing: sprite was cool, explosion needed to be smaller and have nicer effects, very nice on the circular smoke shockwave though. too overpowered and unpretty to win though
    the beast containment thing: if it had a cooler beast, and asploded when destroyed, also could have won. nice execution of the scale and float, and cool gatling gun, but for something full of blue glowy thing, sure didn't release enough when wounded or destroyed. polish and rerelease methinks.
    technologies: ow, my eyes, the sprites were bad-average, but the weapon effects were generally pretty good.
    boom crab: some of the explosions were cool, i liked the big wobbly head on the nuke, but the nuke made WAY too many particles, and the napalm didnt work. the way stuff imploded sometimes was nice though.

I'm so mad mine got corrupted :< though i still think mr. awesomeplant would have won.

Why there's no tank ? The theme is ACrab. but, all is true crab. You can make a tank by ACrab. like numgun did.

I was actually talking about viewtopic.php?f=61&t=13915 but you can interpret it as numgun hate if you want mr jump to conclusions. Unless I've completely misinterpreted you, at which point I suppose I've just harmed myself.

My vote went to the brain-crab, a cool little guy with all the special features although i wish he jumped in the direction he was facing instead of always up.

Other bits:
>Teleporty was kinda cool if not actually a crab...
>The beast things was a bit of an anti-climax for me, I expected a behemoth thing rather than a glowy blue thing.
>turret crab was unable to walk but could none-the-less raep.
>boom crab was meh
>nuke crab was nice, i liked the explosion
>seed thing was cool although didn't acheive any pwnage just general procreation.
>drop crab was a cool idea but didn't go to well for me...
