That's a pretty pointless challenge since there's no problem killing the crabs with it and it doesn't dig.

Just try it. The small crabs die easy. It's the big one you have to worry about.

On Dummy Assault I finished it with a dummy + repeater + turbo digger with no problems or difficulty. The lower half of the map is just so much easier than the top. I think there needs to be another objective. I'd suggest having to rescue something with a dropship from the top of the base or something~

The objective was to use a brain bot and not buy anything. It's a bit harder.

Kinda related, I beat zombie with the starting stuff no damage taken at all.
First I flew in at high speeds at stole two blue bombs from the second bomb maker before a zombie could spawn, then I camped there and gotta couple more. I broke the generator when I was done. I touched the chip box then flew over to the rock next to the first zombie generator. As the Ronin walked in, I bombed the crap out of them from behind mah rock. I also damaged the generator just short of gibbing so that if they came close I could break it and bury them under gibs (I've done it before).

Related: I beat dummy assault with a heavy Browncoat.
Flew across he map, passed the dreadnought, and fell down the hole to the digging area. Took he digger. Went up, stomped on the sniper below the dreadnought, took his sniper. Sniped the gun out of the dreadnought, went over and stomped on it. Dug through the vents, dropped the sniper, ignored the turrets and dropped to the bottom of the brain room. Ta-dah. Not as good as others in terms of health and stuff bought, but I only killed like, two enemies and I was really quick.

I think I'll give the Dummy Assault challenge a go soon.

Otherwise, First Signs can easily be beaten with just a shovel, and you can even get extra dough by returning your assault rifle.

I really didn't want to try to jump out and slaughter them with a digger, since I would bump my head, fall over, and get shot to death, like on the other seven tries.

My challenge is to beat my time at winning dummy assault using only vanilla content.
Temporarily unregister and use the demo timer.

My time was 2 minutes, 47 seconds. I suggest a heavy digger and an actor without footstep sounds, but you do what you like, as long as it's vanilla.

Digging is the whole foundation of the game! Haha

Also, I beat it in maybe 3 minutes with a brainbot but I didn't have a timer running. :c

Yeah but this "no ordering" challenge was a modification of the original challenge, and it said

I buttslammed the dreadnought at the far base entrance, crushed the sniper dummy, sniped the dreadnought above the vent. Got the digger. Dug the door. Snipe the dummy with the destroyer cannon. Got destroyer cannon. Shot destroyer cannon at dummy behind fortification. Bounced it's shots off the wall to kill dreadnought in hallway. Tried to bounce it off ceiling to kill turrets. It killed itself. Said "fuggit" and digger-charged.

The John Connor Challenge

(In honor of Terminator: Salvation)

You must beat Dummy Assault using only one Dimitri and one of the M16 variants. You must also kill every Dummy on the map, and destroy the controller with C4. If you have the UniTec pack, you may use the M4, but not the UniTec M16. All other mods are verboten; this is to prevent people from making a bulletsprayer rapegun M16 and using it for this challenge.

There is a bonus to the challenge; however, it's a spoiler for Terminator: Salvation. End it with the Dimitri in the same state that John Connor was at the end of the Skynet assault for bonus cred; those of you who have seen the movie will know exactly what I'm talking about.

EASY MODE: The John Connor And Marcus Wright Challenge - You may also spawn a Brutus with an M16 and use him to clear the path before the Dimitri goes in and destroys the brain. Both must survive.

NIGHTMARE MODE: Instead of an M16, use a Lady Pistol.
