Re: What you want in B23.
I don't want more factions, i wan the current ones expanded on and refined. I want balance and maybe have only bleeding when an actor's lost a limb, but slight regenerative properties otherwise. But hell... My opinion doesn't matter and I'll be happy with whatever they pump out.

Being able to expand/contract Faction tabs in the buy menu, less things shown, less scrolling.

Thats a good idea. Contrary wrote: I don't want more factions, i wan the current ones expanded on and refined. My opinion doesn't matter and I'll be happy with whatever they pump out. Well, the whitebots are essentially Tradestar Midas' deluxe robot, so they'll be expanding the Base .rte file, but Aliens, I'm not so sure. Maybe for some obscure reason Data means the zombies to be the aliens.

Of course your opinion matters, your the one who's going to play B23 But true, as long as they give us something Foa wrote: Being able to expand/contract Faction tabs in the buy menu, less things shown, less scrolling. Re: What you want in B23.
Going back to the aliens thing, maybe they will be a largely non-playable faction for you to oppose in the campaign. I mean it shouldn't be taken for granted that everyone in this galaxy has remote brain technologies. Perhaps there will be an alien faction which functions in a more conventional (in terms of gameplay) way due to this deficit in science. This would of course mean that they would only exist as enemy AI - the gameplay mechanics, concepts, and even philosophies would be undermined, otherwise.

The aliens would be just like everybody else. It says in the story line that all the factions are prospectors on the same planet fighting for gold rights and territory. You are one of them.
It also says that the name of the Planet is "Midas".

It also says that the name of the Planet is "Midas". Well I never really said anything contrary to that, just that one of the factions might not be a brain-remote-control using group of folk. Now that I really think about it, I realize that this would be a bit of a pointless novelty.

Sentry AI improvment. Faction Balance. Presets.
That's really all I need to keep me playing for a long, long time.

Official ships for each faction! Control over units taking cover or not! A faction viewer! Lands other then dirt and grass! More optimized runtime!

Re: What you want in B23.
It would be really cool if you could use that cursor thing when you hold down the "Switch actor" button, and you hold it over an enemy AI controlled actor and focus all your brain power on that one actor and you could like "Override its mind" and take control of it. It wouldn't be fair to do it on players, though.
