Multiplayer with friends, or even your sister who whats to play "houses" is one of the most fun times that can be had with CC, especially when the houses toilet is made from hundreds of grenades (for me).

I usually place my brain off the level, order an actor and go ballistic on all the hapless fools trying to reach my brain. Other variations include: Ordering a rocket and using it to smash the enemy to pulps/blow the ♥♥♥♥ out of them, not placing a brain and just bomb the level to hell before starting, sprinkling the enemies with PlanetKillers and so on.
Though the most fun is to be found in a game with my brother, even though he enjoys blowing my head off when i suspect it the least. :P

Before I moved, I played CC often with my friends there (they love it and one of them got pissed at me for not informing him of the November sale). Internet play would make this game amazingly greater, but it's pretty easy to be cheap, but I would expect some of us to abide to rules we set. I always battle the AI for a good long time, then I evacuate all my guys and quit the game. If I get a new mod, I test it in the Tutorial Mission. When there is a full game, I'll likely start making campaign series. As for two keyboards on one computer, I'm not so sure that would work because it would be so unnecessary most of the time it probably just wouldn't work, but nothing a little programming couldn't solve by some genius here.

not using windows you cant. or not without a few hacks and modification to the game. CC isnt coded to use 2 mice, and neither is windows in its current form.
tl;dr: no.

On my previous computer I couldn't run CC very well, so I didn't buy it at the time, but now I got quite a beefy laptop so now it runs fine and I finally bought it! Right now I'm just fooling around and trying out all the new weapons in the build, I'm going to connect a Xbox 360 controller, see if that works, and play some splitscreen versus a friend when I get the time, widescreen monitor should be good for splitscreen play! Since the game lacks many physical ingame rules I'll probably make up some for the games when we are playing, like, where to build bases, how to barricade the brains, starting money, etc.

I suspect this will be quite alot of fun since this is what we did in Worms 1, we set it to infinite rounds and gave eachother infinite girders and just made a base for 30 mins or so, then when we agreed we were done with our bases, our match begun! Really fun stuff, and Cortex Command offers just this at the start of the round, build base, buy some troops then engage in carnage!

On Tuesdays through Fridays, if I'm not toiling away modding I usually play CC with my younger sister and her friend. They are teams against me and usually use the Kloveska and Darkstorm factions. Every once in a while durring the game, they have enough gold from digging to buy an army of Kloveskan Oppressors and attempt to bombard my base with heavy explosives. Of course, I destroy their mechs using the Darkstorm's RPGs, Snipers, and Electrolasers (since they're younger than me and have less hand-eye coordination, I let them use 2 factions of their choice and I get 1).

Gameplay like this is actually challenging, since they can work together as a team and multi-task (when they're not trying to kill each other for "stealing" another's actor, of course).

My little sister is too retarded to understand anything besides hannah montana. My friends wont play co-operatively either, i would love online!

I usually play 2player split-screen with my little brother on the one keyboard (although my two-player controls are currently broken, so It's single player only for me right now).

If you don't have a sibling, room mate or open-minded partner, there are some challenging missions in the Scenes section fo the forums.

Awesome! Since I'm new to the game (and the forums!) and all and haven't check the forums in a while, can you care to recommend some good scenes? :)

Infiltration mission:

Fun little corpse-climbing game:

This mod has an assault mission:
viewtopic.php?f=61&t=12875

Well, there aren't that many mission type scenes yet... Playing zombie cave with more difficulty (ex. using only the brain bot or one of any unit) can be pretty fun.

Also playing on new terrain from one of the other (non-mission) scenes can be fun. Changing the Activities.ini (governs what attacks you in skirmish) is another good way to mix it up.

I enjoy making improvised cluster bombs by putting special mixes of grenades, bombs, and actors/crabs into various dropships then dumping it all on some poor fools head. It's like My First Chemistry Set, with more explosions and bloody projectile limbs.

Okay, so I've just found something new to entertain myself with in this game. Here's how it works:
-You play as the Brain-bot, and only the brain bot. He's the only Unit you get.
-Choose 3 weapons: 2 Primary weapons (shield counts), and 1 sidearm or grenade (not both).
-Build a small bunker, with an entrance, and some sort of silo with one of the MK rockets in it.
-Start to the right of the silo

The goal? Cross the entire map (with the computer on Death difficulty), and make it all the way to the craft to escape from the planet! If the AI destroys your craft while you're traveling, you can't order another one until you are inside the bunker.

I've tried this three or four times so far...still haven't made it. :dead:
