   |   Re: Dummy faction mechanicsGet back to gwtb and update, been waiting forever ya know.Relating to the thread, you should post a model of the dummy if you have it done, the dreadnaught looks fantastic, though the gray metal parts of the leg looks a little stiff and unmovable.

   |   Re: Dummy faction mechanicsWhat did you model it in and what render are ya using? As of now it looks quite good and the textures are pretty spot on. It could do with a bit of contrast with some blacks/darker greys added to the texture on the already grey bits. Good work though and I look forward to some anims.

   |   Re: Dummy faction mechanicsBut doing nothing is way more fun than gwtb! ehheh, Ended up really rushing though all this. The Dummy model is not really done. Used alot of the lame ball joints in it. Gonna redo the arms and... feet. Had to get something done to show the teacher for now. It's 3dsmax 2009. Mentalray renderer. All of the texture is some random metal texture I got from google.

   |   Re: Dummy faction mechanicsAre you going to animate these? Also, did prom invent the dreadnought? If so, he should have some concept art of it somewhere.

   |   Re: Dummy faction mechanicsif you think about it in 3D the dreads gun would rotate all around not just up and down, I'd give the gun a little more room. Also the dummy is so missing the logo :p

   |   Re: Dummy faction mechanics That's how I always imagined the legs to look close up. But what you have right now is great. I was just about to post a thread with all your CC related pictures in it before I saw this thread

   |   Re: Dummy faction mechanicsIt seems like that would be the case, I agree, but base.rte to the rescue!Dummy.rte/Actors/Dreadnought/LegFGMediumA000-004.bmp
clearly shows that the whole orange part is connected.

   |   Re: Dummy faction mechanicsthe deadnaught is so badass... but in game it's ♥♥♥♥ pathetic. And by actually looking at the sprites you guys are all on the right track, but wrong. Attachment: LegFGMediumA000.bmpAttachment: LegFGMediumA001.bmpAttachment: LegFGMediumA002.bmpAttachment: LegFGMediumA003.bmpAttachment: LegFGMediumA004.bmpmorr was kinda ontrack but didn't get the look right.
