I've read an article about designing games around multiple threads, and it basically said that's a nightmare to go through. I doubt CC will be redone for multiple cores but I think spreading out that kind of workload would help quite a bit. Maybe Data's planning for it. I dunno.

great explosions =D

CC already has those. the vanilla explosions are getting better on a per-build basis. god, actors heads explode. expect great explosions rawrawr.
also, CC doesnt lag at all on this laptop with the default deltatime/realtosim setup. sure, it lags like a fat bitchcake on the 5 y/o piece-of-crap 2000 i usually play it on, but anyone with a recent computer shouldnt get much lag. especially in the new build with the whole no postpixelglow happening.
god that rant went ♥♥♥♥ nowhere.

I hope he adds support for multiple cores, that would be super awesome.

What I don't get is how changing resolution changes fps, the only thing changing is the amount that is needed to be drawn*, can't the graphics card be used for this?

-sorry I haven't been online recently, modem is broken... IS broken, I'm currently posting this from a friends (and have downloaded b22).

*all physics are still calculated off screen at any resolution

glows etc. because postpixelglows have been turned off it wont have nearly as much of an effect anymore though.
