I just noticed that the drop zone moves along with your brain.
Another advantage for brainbots!

Another advantage for brainbots! Yup, the only thing I don't like is that the LZ is constantly hot because enemies go toward the brain.

Good point. Still, now there are many "bunker buster" crafts that are more useful.

Oh man, Spectator mod still works. This, combined with the smarter AI, makes for actual battles instead of the AI crushing each other to death. They still don't seem to realize shooting a dropship hovering over them is a bad idea, but that's part of the fun.

Re: B25 first impressions
So, what's the deal with b25 dropships? When you drop people off that you picked up, they display at the position they were picked up from for a frame or two. It looks weird, and I don't remember it being the case before. Is dropship inventory managed in a new way to be more Lua-accessible, or something?

Movement is improved both on the ground and with a jetpack...
and Laaaaagg.
I don't know what the difference is between the demo and this release, but shortly after starting any mission there seems to be this never ending series of stutters and hiccups.
That aside, its nice to be able to play the game without a time limit.

Rather, I hate having dropships appear right over the position of my brain and nowhere else, which seems to happen a lot more commonly than before.

If the mouse could be used while doing continuous screen dumps again, that'd just be swell. Or at least I'm pretty sure you used to be able to, I don't remember encountering that problem when making gif in previous versions.

Re: B25 first impressions
Well, what I've noticed now is that CC likes to eat the settings.ini much more often than before.

Huh, that's weird. I haven't experienced Settings.ini being eaten at all since B23.

Re: B25 first impressions
I experienced it for the first time in B23, never in B24 but in B25 it has happened to me many times.
And I also noticed that after sometime CC begins lagging, not badly, but noticeable lag, even if there is nothing interesting going on. If I reset everything goes back to normality, but after a while the problem happens again.
