Tested B23, and so far it looks absolutely awesome. :grin:

Just one thing bothers me a little: is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the coalition's drone closely resembles the Arach robot I made in the scavenger faction, both in weaponry and movement pattern? Oh, whatever.

Wow, never saw that, and yes it is basically a copy of it with a bigger head...

Maybe you shoulda gotten a pm saying they were using your content in the game at least.

Other than the fact that it's a crab walker, I don't see much of a similarity. Yours is dummy-based and smaller and orange. Crabs all look kind of similar in CC.

Well, I think that's not the only similarity. Take a look at the other ones I noticed:

1- It's a crab walker ( kinda obvious, but I wanted to repeat it just because.);
2- Both of them move by jumping;
3- Both of them generate forcefields by propelling blueish white MOPixels in 360 degrees around the unit;
4-Both look like a smaller dreadnought;
5-If you look at the code, you'll notice that some parts, such as the turret coding, are not only similar, but completely identical, the only difference being the sprites and gibs.

And here are pictures of each one of them:

The arach:

The drone:

I dunno about you, but that seems similar to me.

Sorry to be a bother, but I get pretty angry at code ninjas ( If that really happened, of course).

But then I would have to kill him and that would be unpleasant.

EDIT: No, I DID not mean data, I meant the other guy.

And, I was kidding.

Numgun put the drone together. I really doubt he stole the code. There are certainly some similarities though. You could talk to him if you want, I don't know anything about it other than it showed up on the server one day :P

I hadn't heard about that one yet, and even if I had, I would've said the same thing. Data is just a recognizable figure to me, and to most others.

Is that in the game or is it a mod?

It's in-game. Station #836-AOC under Skirmish.

IwannarideitIwannarideitIwannarideitIwannarideitIwannarideit [the train]
How would I go about making it open its doors when stopped at stations?
Just check if the velocity is less than 5 or so, and if so, go to deliver cargo AI mode?

Gotcha, I'm not quite sure what you mean by random floating bunker pieces. Which missions are these in?

Sorry, 'floating' is perhaps a poorly chosen word.
I mean that the maps I've seen so far could use a lot of polishing and interior decorating. I really dislike the use of similar bunker bits randomly slapped together.
I bet this will change later (or at least I hope).

I'll make some screenshots when I get home.
