   | But doesn't it have more pixels to render when it is on a high res?
Like HL2 goes faster the lower the res is.

And slower when the res is high.

   | What I'm saying is that it doesn't matter cause my graphics card eats babies.

   | Higher res won't make it much slower, since most of the lag in CC is caused by physics, not rendering.

   | My people! I give you... 1680x1050.
And they said it couldn't be done....

Also, there was no lag.. except for the part where it takes about 10 extra seconds to get a screen capture. I didn't exactly stress test it either, but my theory is that the game is doing the physics even if you can't see it, so looking at it all won't make it any laggier.

I just thought... this will make an excellent background.

   | Very nice, I applaud you on that. Did you edit up the background files too?
Also, I was under the impression that CC used only the processor to calculate things. All those pixel physics calculations are eating up CPU cycles. Anybody else think CC would kick butt if it implemented a PPU ? Oh yeah.
 EDIT:
A good point was brought up that I hadn't thought of before. The game has to spend time on every pixel whether you see it or not. Think of when you crash a dropship. Dirt pixel go flying across the screen, and skellies still dig away at your base whether you look at em or not. Dur. I feel dumb now.
