Post Cortex Command Crash (Anyone else?)
Hi.

I'm having a problem with Cortex Command which is REALLY QUITE IRRITATING. I have a lot of very good mods added on to the game, which make it a lot more hilarious.

Now, I keep on finding that either on startup, or when loading a map, the game crashes to desktop. This keeps on happening unless I am forced to delete one of the mods from the main folder, on which point it starts up again.

This is really quite annoying, as there are plenty of good mods I wish to try without being constantly forced to delete them, just to get the game working. :x

Does anyone else suffer from this? Is there any sort of fix? Or will I have to keep on deleting mods whenever I want to try something new? Please help!

(Oh, and I couldn't find any posts with similar problems. Sorry if this has already been brought up)

There is no 1 mod that causes it

It's just random

Okay. I was just asking if there was a general fix for it.

I've deleted a few mods now, but it still won't start. It gets to the map loading bit, then crashes. GAH.

EDIT: I've deleted more mods... and now it doesn't even get to the main menu! GRAAAGH

MUST... RESIST... FIST OF DEATH...

When it happens to me, I open the abortscreen and look at the mod it was loading (bottom one).
I delete that (the mod), then reinstall it.
You might just need to reinstall CC.

Hmmm.

It's been doing this to me as well.

Screen goes black for a few seconds, then tells you it had an error, right?

Seems to happen sometimes, no general fix for it.
