Post Suggestion to the developers
You've got your self a very entertaining piece of programming right here. But it could stand to be improved on a bit more.

I think the biggest problem with this game is its resolution, after all you're either struggling to see what the hell is on screen or everything is so in your face quality is reduced ten fold.

1. Add more resolution settings for displays bigger than 1600 x 900 that keep the same large ratio size, as having mini sprites is painful to the eyes. I know there is a middle ground.

2. Allow us to change some hard coded functions in the menu, such as the 4x multiplier in meta game for troop costs, Friendly Fire, the brain death flashy stuff, maybe even global variables that can control all troops cost or bullet damage, etc.

3. Publicity, I'm not sure you guys realize what you could market this game as, but I would market it as a type of "RPG Maker for Real Time Strategy Games". The metagame is what should sell this game, not Steam. But then again, this game should be sold on vendors like gog.com, amazon.com, etc. Not just steam, you're missing out on sales. Especially since it is DRM Free. Just make sure you market it as "Create your own troops! Explosions! Chaos! Indie! Metagame! Imagine your own content!"

4. I would work on mod support, to get users into it, so it's the first thing people know about, to expose the options for this game. Most people don't know about the modding capability. And if RPG Maker can sell well, then this game surely can. Especially since more people like action movies than rpg movies.

5. "Make your own isometric 3D commando!" - slogan?

6. Add more zombie modes, and maybe survival modes in the future. Like long game modes where your character lives on the same scene for a long time. Consider it down the line.

Well thats it for now, feel free to disregard any and all suggestions.

I dunno about the rest, but I'm running the game on a 32" TV and it looks gorgeous, so I don't know what the problem is.

You can make the sprites bigger, it just takes a little ini editing. In your settings, there's a variable called Windowed=1 or somesuch, change it to 2, and set your resolution to half of what you want it to be. It'll double the size of everything.

I coulda sworn that the shown resolution was fixed at 800x600 or something, and that the resolutions in the options menu just made the image sharper. What build are you using?

I don't have it installed right now, actually. But you're playing in full screen, with the image stretched. When you're increasing the resolution, it's making it less stretched, so sharper.

Woah! It worked!

ResolutionX = 800
ResolutionY = 450

and

NxWindowed = 2

Perfect!
