Post Deleting Saves
Greetings, Let me start off by saying I'm new to the forums and love the game so far, despite its bugs. I understand its still young but i see a lot of potential for it to be a excellent game. That being said, I require a way to delete my campaign saves. As far as I can tell there is no in game delete feature, Where can i find the save files?

Actually, CC is quite old compared to most 'modern' games. So far it's around 11 years old.

But anyway, your Metagame saves should be located in your metagames.rte folder, which is located in the main Cortex Command directory.

Specifically, in there, every save has an INI file with the name of the save, along with several BMP images with the name of the save as well. Delete those to clear out the save, and then go into Index.ini of Metagames.rte to clear the save data from there. For example, from this:
Code:
DataModule
   ModuleName = Metagame Saves
   AddMetaSave = MetaSave
      PresetName = AutoSave
      SavePath = Metagames.rte/AutoSave.ini
      SiteCount = 6
      PlayerCount = 4
      RoundCount = 0
   AddMetaSave = MetaSave
      PresetName = BlahBlah
      SavePath = Metagames.rte/BlahBlah.ini
      SiteCount = 6
      PlayerCount = 4
      RoundCount = 1

To this:
Code:
DataModule
   ModuleName = Metagame Saves
   AddMetaSave = MetaSave
      PresetName = AutoSave
      SavePath = Metagames.rte/AutoSave.ini
      SiteCount = 6
      PlayerCount = 4
      RoundCount = 0

to clear it the "BlahBlah" save.
