My voice isn't that annoying, but I'll have the timezone problem. (GMT 1+) I could call Data though without having wake him up in the middle of the night.

I'm at GMT 0, but have a really annoying voice and look butt-ugly. So I guess you can count me out. I know, I'll look through the "post your pic" thread to find a good face for the job.

Tucker would make a hilarious anchor. I need a haircut atm, but I don't see why we'd need video that much anyway, unless we wanted hilarious shots of Paul looking furiously military somewhere dark commenting on the state of his once great stamping grounds or something. Otherwise it's going to end up involving a lot of "and now, to shirtless tucker, with five minutes of dev hate" or something to that effect.

Me neither, in retrospect. How're we going to present it though? Admittedly I haven't watched many podcasts due to my intense aversion to anything bandwidth heavy but the best ones I have seen are always conversational, with many people chatting about whatever rather than one person being like "Right, so, internet, here's now I FEEL about this, uh, yeah. and also I disagree with this and that. Thanks for watchin me guise :3". That could be personal preference, but I think it'd be more fun if this was essentially some guys from drlff/drlirc rant about stuff nonlinearly.

I think a discussion with certain topics, and then maybe guest speakers.

If any of you guys have ever listened to Tigradio (Geti being the most likely candidate), that's roughly the format I'd pick.

I'd be happy to participate (you can all hear how I talk in real life), but I'll need to ascertain whether or not my mic works.

EDIT: And maybe a "live" radio show with certain set presenters, and then a chatroom for other folks to talk at us through? So we can answer questions UP TO THE MINUTE.

oh, actually I haven't got my mic driver working yet. I'll do that now.
And I've heard some tigradio, not enough though. I do like that kind of format though.

Maybe we can have a contest for the intro music.
