   |   When you try running CC off a flash drive...As the title states, this has to do with an odd thing that happens when you try running CC off your trusty thumb drive. When you do so, the order of the loaded mods- Not the vanilla content- is reversed. Normally the content list on the buy menu is alphabetical, but when you run it off a flash drive it becomes reverse alphabetical.

 Any ideas why this is occuring?

 Ah I guess this would be useful if CC took up a lot of space. I wish I could run Steam or something off of a flash drive.

 So from a scale of Full of Bugs (3) to No Bugs (1) on where to run CC:

 Program Files --> 3
 Desktop --> 2
 Flashdrive --> 1 (other than the order of loading)

 Also, if it loads in randomly, does it mean that the whatever activities is used is also random?

   |   Re: When you try running CC off a flash drive...Vanilla folders are loaded in usual order, and then the mod folders are loaded in random order. The first activity file loaded is the one that gets used in game.
 Also, I have a 2 GB flash drive, so I have plenty of space.

   |   Re: When you try running CC off a flash drive...Vanilla folders are hardcoded into the game in order, so it makes sense that they'd show up in the right order. They also always load first.I really have no idea why running CC off a flash drive screws with the loading order, but it's always done that for me. I imagine it has something to do with how CC finds the modules. There's a good chance that it uses a function that just returns the first file in a folder, then continues from there, and that the way it's ordered on a flash drive works differently than standard drives.

 Odd. My flash drive lets me run CC, but it keeps the mod list in reverse alphabetical order (i.e. the ZombBots are right under the Vanilla guys instead of the AAL, and the AAL is where the ZombBots should be if you were running CC on my desktop)
