zombie cave
This has most likely been adressed, but how do you launch the control chip into orbit? I wouldn't be surprised if said action were impossible in the current build, but I'd like confermation.

Re: zombie cave
Have an actor hold it, then lower a dropship over it and hit fire. This will open the dropship door, sucking the actor in. You can then apply thrust and blast off into orbit and receive your win.

Re: zombie cave
you dont need an actor.
you just have the chip where its accessible by a dropship, order a dropship, and then click to open the doors, fly near the chip and bring it up into the top of the map.

Re: zombie cave
here's a challenge, finish the level without actors, just use a rocket/dropship and some grenades you can drop. no mods. I managed to win using the dummy Rocklet, but died 5 times.

Re: zombie cave
With the dummy rocket? That thing is nothing other than suicidal psycho-cracker chariot each time I pilot it, but it makes a great 30oz weapon I can launch with impunity from orbit.

Re: zombie cave
I think he means the dummy dropship. I finished the level with that only, too. Drummy rocket is, yeah... Awful. Okay for crab bombs I suppose.

Re: zombie cave
no, I mean the dummy ROCKET! The only craft that can right itself after tipping over.
Edit: a picture to prove it can be done.

Re: zombie cave
normal rockets can do that too you know. try rapidly pressing down and towards the "floored" side, works like a charm.

Re: zombie cave
I've done the mission with only the starting rocket and brain bot. I even got a video of it once, but it was kinda screwed up. We really ought to start a Zombie Cave Challenge thread, it being the first mission and all.

Re: zombie cave
I'll just stick to using the dummy rocket as a weaponized yellow death scooter. It's all I can do with it at the moment but I would like to see some youtube vids of you magical pilots who can accomplish such a feat as beating zombie level with only dummy rocket.

I always toggled the tiny side jet thinking it would do something while digging the rocket into the ground even more with the upwards thrusters. The rescue attempt then devolves into cursing at a thrashing metal coffin. Typically a coffin for my brain bot/chip carrier.
