Post mods for mac
i am going to make this simple and brief. can you get mods for the mac version and if so how do you get them.[color=#0000FF][/color]

yes. you can. but they have to be converted. i have never owned a mac so i have 0 idea how they work.

Not necessarily. Depends on if the mod relies on basegame content.
To be helpful, @sircooper, head on over to the mod releases section of this forum, download a suitable mod (for starters you should download a mod that has indeed been converted) and follow the installation instructions for mac. Those are about halfway down the post, a quote from 411570N3.

Most major mods now work on macs. I find that it's easier just to try them out. But don't use too many. My computer's still recovering from lag.

i assume you've been trying to install them the same way you would for windows. because that thread only has a small section on installing for mac, i'll quote that section here for ease.

basically, extract it to the resources directory rather than "C:\Program Files\Data Realms\Cortex Command\"
please note you need to extract the mod for it to work. stuffit should expand any mod archive happily.
