1-I always leave some guys on guard at the brain to switch to once in a while...

2-Dig mode is broken...

3-I never leave anything ship-related to AI, it doesn't appear to react to anything much at all...

4-Agreed, though there are some interesting bunker modules/setups that work around this well...

this is not a wishlist, not even a corrupt one. its a discussion of ways to make CC more playable, and of the areas where CC excels and doesnt. dont be vulgar to get a point across.
odin, who was that aimed at? im assuming not me, as i didnt bump it, but it wasnt clear.

it looks like the AI has been updated in the next build, so we will hopefully get less failing wreaks stumbling over the hill towards our fortresses when playing against them. however, i wonder what has gone on 'under the hood', as someone commented the coalition soldiers seem to be moving faster and more steadily, though that could just be performance lag on their machine, or a misjudgement. i havn't personally compared the current speed with the speed in the video, but that would indicate that some work has been done to the limbpaths, possibly to make them more steady..

That's a wishlist.

Games like Soldat manage to use physics to a good extent while still having smooth controls for the most part.

I'd just like to point out that Soldat's physics is wacked. People move like WHEELS.

but yes, walking in Cortex Command is not an easy task. Jetpacks are a very neccesarry thing.

1. Didn't know about those. I'll look again for them. Thanks.

3. Heh. I never tried them before, and I like them, though the lack of a refund is the one drawback.

4. I got the new maps, pretty good maps.

One other thing I would suggest is NOT making the escape key instantly exit the game without some sort of yes/no box. It's far too easy to try skipping something or trying to back up a menu and accidentally leaving the game. (Especially considering the game can take a while to load)

if you have any RAM (by any i mean at least 1gb) the game should load damn fast after the first time (in one session). in any case, no. the double escape key is how modders exit the game quickly to go edit something. you should know not to mash a key that quits the game.

metal squares are in bunker bits.
