Lulz.

First of all, just worry about walking. Simple, yes, but it's the best way to learn how to defend yourself.

When you are sure you are used to using the jetpack as a jump, then try using it as a transport. If you want to get to the enemy base fast, you jetpack there, slow down and land.

Walk before you fly.

Climbing is fun too. Lets say youre broke and youve got that lonely skeleton with a pistol just at the shore of the enemy base that youre supposed to jetpack up a small wall to reach the brain ect. Just do this: (we presume that theres a wall on the right)

1. Yo might want to shoot some holes/grips into the wall so you can climb them more easily.
2. Start climbing by holding right and youll begin to climb the wall briefly
3. When you come to the point when the skeleton doesnt go up no more but he is just stuck there, release the right button.
4. Just when you feel that he is about to fall, press and hold the right button again to continue climbing.
5. Repeat steps 3-4 until you reach the top. Might take some practise.

I'm also a big-time Soldat player and just started playing this game yesterday. Yes, the physics of the game can be quite hard to cope with but I eventually got used to it after one long day of playing. Now, I'm beginning to enjoy the added realism of the game and wouldn't think Cortex Command would be the same without it.
