Post subject:  DUALSIDES: Two Player Map

I'm surprised how much easier it is to make maps in the build 14. I easily made this in a couple of hours. Okay, whole new background with a "night assault" feel to it. Two identical strong bases with ideal positions (ie on either side XD). There's a landmass in the middle to disencourage sniping, since this is a 2 player map. No X wrap. That'd be cheap. Enjoy!

EDIT: Lord Tim's Waterfall map inspired this one. Great map Tim.

I really like the gradient on the sky, but you should make the rocks and sky sorta "shade" match up to show that uniform-ness of colour at night. So make the sky a dark blue gradient instead of the greys.

Still awesome though.

A reccomendation to reduce the number of attachements to the first post is to take the terrain file, then copy-paste the bases onto it where they go.

That way people get a full overview, add some markers for any starting actors and stuff and you only need one or two images to show just about everything for most standard maps.

Yeah, that is a good idea. That's actually how I made the terrain in GIMP; I set the terrain to 100% zoom, and dragged the bases to their sides. That way I knew how to make the dirt behind the bases.

Yeah, that and if you do that at first it helps you figure out what the coordinates for the bases are so you don't have to keep putting in numbers hoping it'll be in the right place.
